在参加甘肃专升本考试公共课英语考试最后一道大题的时候，切忌，模板不是万能的；经过一定时间的模仿训练之后，考生应力求个性化自己的作品。在进行英语写作时，要从切题、结构和语言三方面检查自己的文章是否达到大纲的要求。字数幅应以题目要求的数量为准，不要太少，更不要太多（言多必失）。书写要工整，立意要新颖，论理要充分，过渡要流畅（用好转折词）。

此外，对于名人名言或是谚语俗语等要慎用，不要在记不清或不懂原文意思的情况下乱用。
